Is it really a product to help us with our school planning, or is it a produce of surveillance to make sure our schools are planning in the prescribed manner. The fact that there is someone "out there" judging your evidence is actually a bit frightening, and how can someone from afar really judge our schools? I suspect it is a tool for school improvement accountability, not just school improvement.John Robinson Ed.Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14155145743617621924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2158157279489866895.post-55389670684305364232017-04-28T22:01:25.231-04:002017-04-28T22:01:25.231-04:00I was somewhat to eager to use Indistar, as I thou...I was somewhat to eager to use Indistar, as I thought it would help keep my team focused. Indistar requires you to constantly review and revisit your goals to assess progress, a good way to keep your focus. But you hit on the drawback. Once we are ready to move on, we can't. No, no - we have to upload our 'proof'. So, as we sit down to begin planning for next year, we are instead spending our time uploading all of this evidence to prove to someone(?) that our judgement is valid. Is it a tool for school improvement or for accountability? MLBGMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18110871517355886322noreply@blogger.com
